Social and Environmental Sustainability

As a manufacturer, we are aware of our great responsibility to use resources responsibly and minimize our environmental impact. As a Zingerle Group brand, we are continuously refining our product process or developing new programs for a more sustainable environment and society. After all, the "Eco" in Ecotent refers to the words "economical" and "ecological" — both key elements of our company values.

Efficient measures for a greener future

Sustainability starts with our canopy tent production. Our main production facility is 100% powered by renewable energy from our large photovoltaic system, which has covered our energy use since 2008.

Our commitment continues to reforestation programs, recycled materials, community engagement, and more.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

At Ecotent®, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. We care deeply about the environment and the well-being of our employees and community. Our workplace is designed to accommodate individual needs with flexible working hours and supportive company activities.

Outside of our office, we seek out community sponsorships and partnerships with like-minded organizations — like Human Powered Movement, a local organization that plans unique, sustainable races and events, with a focus on giving back to environmental groups. Each year, we also organize charity projects and events to support those in difficult life situations, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive impact on both people and the planet.

RECYCLABLE MATERIALS FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

BUILDING LASTING, DURABLE PRODUCTS

At Ecotent®, we're passionate about ensuring every detail of our canopy tents is designed for commercial-grade quality. The longer product lifespan means less waste and more efficient energy use during production, helping to reduce CO2 emissions.

We use only recyclable materials for our canopy tents: aluminum for the frame, iron for the feet, and nylon for the cover caps and push buttons. Our polyester fabrics for roofs and sidewalls are also 100% recyclable at the end of their service life.

Our sustainability goals include removing all plastic from our packaging by 2030.

CREATIVE upcycling

FUNCTIONALITY FROM PRODUCT SCRAPS

We turn apparent waste into added value for our customers. Fabric scraps from our canopy tent roof and sidewall production become drawstring bags that we deliver to all our customers as part of our product packaging.

REPURPOSED PET PLASTICS

100% recycled FABRIC

If you value sustainability like we do, our Recycled Fabric Collection is made from 100% recycled polyester polymers sourced from old PET bottles. This offers numerous environmental benefits: we avoid producing new material, recycle waste, and reduce the number of plastic bottles that would otherwise end up in oceans or landfills. Available in three natural colors—Olive, Stone, and Sand—this fabric is also tested and certified by Control Union's Global Recycled Standard.
