How do I set up my canopy tent?

How to set up your canopy tent

Setting up an Ecotent® is quick and easy—no tools or crews required. One person can manage assembly all on their own. Watch our set-up video to see how our 10 x10 ft tent assembled in less than a minute.

Can I print photography on the canopy tent?

Boundless personalization

Yes! We use a sublimation printing technique to apply high quality images or graphics onto any fabric surface of your tent. Customize your roof or sidewalls with a photo of your choice. For best results, the photo format should be 1:1 at 100 dpi or 1:100 at 300 dpi.

Are Ecotent canopy tents waterproof?

100% waterproof

Yes, all Ecotent® canopy tents are 100% waterproof. An unexpected drizzle or steady rainfall is no problem for our tents, perfect for long days outside.

Are Ecotent® canopy tents fire-retardant?

Fire protection options

Yes! We do offer fire-retardant textiles. Choose a textile to suit your needs:

Oxford 500D: fire-rated Oxford

250D: fire-rated or non-fire-rated

Recycled fabric: only available in a non-fire-retardant version

How Can a Canopy Tent Be Anchored?

Stable Setups with Proven Anchoring Solutions

Pop-up canopy tents can be secured using several effective anchoring methods. The best option depends on the surface, length of use, and weather conditions. We recommend the following four solutions:

Base Plates (33 lb & 62 lb)
Ideal for hard surfaces such as concrete or asphalt. Well suited for mobile use, base plates provide dependable stability and have been tested under controlled wind conditions.
Water Weights (44 lb when filled)
Flexible ballast with no ground penetration. Attached directly to the canopy tent leg, water weights are ideal for temporary setups and sensitive surfaces.
Anchoring Kit with Guy Ropes & Ground Stakes
The right choice for soft ground such as grass or soil. Quick to install and reliable, even for longer outdoor use.
Ground Anchors (min. 16 in)
Designed for permanent installations in gardens or green areas. They secure the canopy tent firmly in the ground, even in challenging weather conditions.

For Maximum Stability: These anchoring solutions can also be combined to further increase overall stability and safety.
